Today

I felt like I was falling,
But never hit rock bottom!
I felt like I was climbing,
But never reached the top!
I felt like I was laughing,
But barely managed a smile!
I felt like I was crying,
But the tears never came!
I felt like I was screaming,
But the sound never left my throat!
I felt like I was buzzing,
But the feeling never lasted!
I felt like I was dying,
But here I am today!

  

Mind Body World and Soul

My mind was like a clock,
Tick, tock, tick, tock!
My body was like a zombie
Waiting to be set free!
My world was like a dream,
Or so it seemed!
My soul was trapped,
Mind, Body,
World and Soul all overlapped!
