Budding Artists at Nelson Trust

The Saturday afternoon painting club at Nelson Trust merged their talents to produce this huge piece of artwork.

After a few weeks on display the artwork is then cut up to be distributed among the ten contributing artists.

 

It’s an enjoyable and telling process as each artist starts something which is then added to / enhanced by the next artist.  The point being to be respectful yet not overly attached; allowing another to nurture and change what you started. The challenge is not to destroy it.  The group were really pleased with the outcome.
