The 2010 Clay Pigeon Shoot at Kingscote Barn

The shoot was well supported on a sunny May Monday and teams tested their skills with a variety of flights of clays, also against the Gnat, a radio controlled plane.  The winning team was Pinker’s Pals closely followed by Double Glazed.   IMSM were the highest scorers on the Gnat.   The Gloucestershire Gun Company arranged an air rifle range and shotgun cleaning.

Supporters visit celebrated gardens at Kiftsgate Court

Anne and John Chambers generously opened their beautiful garden for a very successful fundraising event.  Supporters were able to enjoy the gardens, have a delicious picnic there and then listen to a most entertaining and interesting talk by Timothy Walker, Director of the University of Oxford Botanic Garden.  The event raised over £10,000.  Thanks to everyone who attended and the organisers and speakers.

A Day to Remember! Celebrating 25 Years of the Nelson Trust.

The Reunion to celebrate the 25 years since Nelson Trust opened its doors will be held at the Community Centre, Owen Harris Memorial Ground, Bath Road, Eastington on Saturday 25th September 2010 from 10 am – 4 pm.
