New Mental Health Worker comes to Nelson Trust

Nelson Trust provides extra support with a dedicated Mental Health Worker

Nelson Trust has always worked to help improve the lives and well-being of clients who present with more challenging and sometimes diagnosed mental health illness, also known as Dual Diagnosis.

The Trust was successful in a bid for funding from local organisation, Barnwood Trust, and has been able to employ a dedicated member of staff to solely work and support clients with a dual diagnosis.

The new Mental Health Worker, Jan, says:

“I have been tasked to look at what needs to happen in order to improve and build on providing the care and treatment of clients with more complex mental health needs, working closely and in partnership with other agencies to ensure NT continues to offer the excellent standards of care and best practice they have been doing since their inception.”
