Why we need your help

The Nelson Trust is a registered charity (No. 1056672) and we need to raise capital, revenue and project funding to continue to deliver high quality services, initiate new programmes and develop new facilities. 

Growth and innovation are only possible with secure, sustainable funding streams. The Fundraising Department was set up to attract financial support for future projects and developments that cannot be financed by Government grants. The Nelson Trust needs the support of the wider community to further its plans in key areas and we rely on private individuals, community groups, clubs, churches, local and national companies and grant-making Trusts to support us in our work.

The Nelson Trust is very grateful to the hundreds of people and organisations who have lent their support through grants, donations or by attending fundraising events. Their commitment to the Trust is invaluable, enabling us to continuously improve our services. This helps us to create new programmes, services and facilities which address the varying needs of our clients. We believe that they deserve the best possible chance of recovery from substance misuse and establish a positive, abstinent, independent lifestyle. We are therefore committed to developing specialist services for different segments of our client base.
