We are seeking an experienced and highly focused Freelance Marketing and Communications Specialist for a fixed term period to cover maternity leave.
Working within a highly focused small team, the Freelance Communications Officer will provide editorial, creative and operational support across our charity’s work. He or she will support The Nelson Trust, a Gloucestershire based charity, supporting individuals into recovery from addiction and other multiple challenges. You will communicate, promote and market The Nelson Trust’s events calendar over the coming months and manage the social media and web content for the Trust.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to implement a successful organisation communications plan and will have experience with online social media platforms, including technical ability and knowledge of Hootsuit, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Salary: £20,000 to £23,000 (depending on experience)
Responsible to: Head of Fundraising and Business Development
Duration: 6 months fixed term (maternity cover)
Start date: April 2018
