Medication Administration Assistant

We are looking for a Medication Administration Assistant to work across four treatment houses within the Nelson Trust.  The ideal candidate will have an interest in medicine management systems and processes and will be able to demonstrate accuracy in their work and attention to detail.

This role requires you to perform all functions, such as receiving, checking, booking in and stock control of medication, liaise with GP’s and Pharmacy to ensure swift prescription processing and timely arrival of medication for service users.

You will need to hold or be working toward NVQ 3 in Health and Social care and be willing to enrol on a medication management course.

The post will be based at our Residential Services, Brimscombe, Stroud.

Part time post:   20 hours per week
Holidays:            25 days pro rata pa plus statutory
Salary:                £19,400 pro rata pa dependant on experience                        
Pension:             Currently non-contributory scheme in operation (Nelson Trust contribute 6%) however subject to auto-enrolment legislation
