This new service supports young women aged 16 - 24 years who are involved in, or are at risk of:

  • Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Offending Behaviour
  • Substance Misuse

The service aims to reduce risk, promote wellbeing and  protect young women and girls from abuse and exploitation.

The service aims to engage young women in rural areas through educational workshops in schools and other settings, through partnership working, and to offer individual sessions, small group work programmes to raise awareness of:

  • The impact of anti-social behaviour on the community
  • The role of peers in anti-social and offending behaviour
  • Consequences for the individual engaging in anti-social behaviour including risks to personal safety
  • Links between anti-social behaviour, substance misuse, domestic abuse and gangs

The outreach service will build links and networks with partner agencies across Gloucestershire to work together to reduce the incidence of crime and anti-social behaviour in rural communities.

If you would like to make a referral for a young woman who may benefit from this intervention please contact Christina Lines, Rural Outreach Worker, on 01452 397692 or 07785 620389.  Alternatively please email

This service is funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire.
