The Annual Clay Shoot and Black Tie Dinner held on Friday 13th May at Berkeley Castle and the Folly raised over £30,000 for The Nelson Trust. 24 teams participated in the shoot, with Edward Notley Kent’s team winning the Richard Lister Trophy. 105 people attended the dinner in the Great Hall at Berkeley Castle. Jazz from The Delphian Singers enhanced the ambience and the evening was rounded off with an auction. The new Nelson Trust Grand Prize Draw was launched on the night. This will close on 30th November 2016, so there’s plenty of time to buy more when you attend another Nelson Trust event. This is your chance to win a brand new Peugeot 108 Active provided by Warners Motors.

Every year, The Nelson Trust helps hundreds of people whose lives are affected by addiction and associated problems. These events enable us to provide many extra services which would not otherwise be possible. This way, more individuals, families and communities can recover, thrive and flourish. We believe that with the right support and belief, there is nothing an individual can’t achieve. It is so important that we are here for those who need us.

We would like to give a huge thank you to all our sponsors and all those involved with the planning and running of the event:

Cotswold BMW are the official luxury vehicle sponsor of the Trust, supplying a fleet of 4x4 BMWs to transport the guns around the course.
St James’s Place Wealth Management
Savills – main sponsor
The David Thomas Charitable Trust – main sponsor
