We’re kicking off our events season in style at Berkeley Castle. On Friday 13th May, our friends and supporters will gather around the Berkeley Castle Folly for the annual Nelson Trust Clay Shoot and Dinner. Once again, we’ll be feasting on gorgeous barbecued venison burgers. When you have booked your team of four, you’ll get the chance to shoot a variety of flushes, including a pigeon hide, grouse butt stands and the famous gnat, followed by a well-earned cup of tea with cakes. Round off a perfect day with the prestigious Black Tie Dinner in the Great Hall at 7pm, including your own private tour of the castle, pre-dinner drinks, a three-course dinner, and then our usual auction and raffle. Find out how to enter your team and buy tickets here.
This event is sponsored by Savills, Cotswold BMW, St James’s Place, Lodders and The David Thomas Trust. For further information, please contact our events team on 01453 732071 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shoot at £150 per gun (which includes refreshments). Four guns per team, however individuals are welcome and we will find you a team.
Dinner at £75 per person (includes a castle tour and three-course dinner with wine).
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We enjoy getting communities together. Generosity is what we and our supporters do best. We go the extra mile for anyone struggling with drugs or alcohol and our supporters go the extra mile when it comes to auction donation and bids. This is the event that everyone keeps coming back to time and time again. In fact, we’re all digging deep together.
We are extremely grateful to the host of this event, Mr Charles Berkeley, and to Mr & Mrs Harry Marshall for the use of Berkeley's Deer Park and Folly.
