Grants from charitable trusts and foundations play a vital role in enabling us to develop new services and programmes.
It can be particularly challenging to secure statutory funding for innovative pilot projects before they have been tried and tested, and we therefore rely on the generous support of trusts and foundations to help get new projects off the ground: then our task is to prove their value and secure their long-term sustainability.
Capital funding is also an area where we rely enormously on the generosity of trusts and foundations. The purchase and refurbishment of Belsize House, which you can see pictured here, the home of our ISIS Women’s Centre and Family Focus service, was only possible through generous local and national support.
We have received support from many trusts and foundations over the years and it is impossible to list them all here, but we do acknowledge and thank them every year in our Annual Report and Accounts.
We place great emphasis on building up a close relationship with funders, providing them with regular reports on our activities and on the outcomes for our clients which their support has made possible.
