The Nelson Trust Women’s Centre supports women in a trauma informed approach, who are experiencing multiple and complex needs. We provide a creche service for children (0-8 years) whilst their mother/carer attends the centre.
We are looking for an experienced creche volunteer to support our Creche Lead, to help deliver and develop our creche service.
You should have excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
The Nelson Trust is committed to safeguarding and it will be required to undergo an enhanced Children & Adults DBS check prior to starting.
Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
