Congratulations to our London Marathon Runners!

Congratulations to our London Marathon runners, Jack and Henry Lister on raising an amazing £3,800.

Jack and Henry participated in the run in memory of their late grandfather, Richard Lister, and to honour his work as Chairman of Trustees for The Nelson Trust.

Since their grandfather’s passing, Jack and Henry have continued to volunteer at our fundraising events. This year, they decided to take on the London Marathon in the heat on Sunday, 27th April.

Jack shared: “The amazing support around the course helped to distract from the heat and pain. But we were both really proud to complete the race wearing our Nelson Trust vests.”

Raising an incredible £3,800 and completing the 42km marathon for the individuals we support across the South West of England and Wales, we want to thank Jack and Henry for their wonderful efforts and dedication to The Nelson Trust!

If you feel inspired by Jack and Henry’s fundraising story, you can participate in any of our fundraising events here or set up your own fundraiser!
