Earlier this year, women from our Bristol Women’s Centre were invited to take part in Socktopus’ Design a Sock challenge as part of their Socks for Good campaign.
Socktopus is a family-owned business with a passion for fun, colourful socks, with stores across the UK, including one of its newest shops just up the road from our Bristol centre.
Through its Socks for Good campaign, proceeds from every pair of socks sold are donated to a chosen organisation, and we are absolutely delighted to be part of it.
Twelve women from the Bristol Women’s Centre each designed a pair of socks to be sold in Socktopus stores later this year. One winning design was selected, giving its creator the opportunity to see her artwork brought to life. She also received her very own pair of socks featuring her winning design.
Bristol Women’s Centre Manager, Ellie Jones, shared her thanks to the team:
“The whole team at Socktopus Bristol have been incredible throughout the entire process. They were so kind to all the women and truly made the experience enjoyable for everyone involved. We can’t wait to get our own pairs!”
